Missing children recovered; search continues for father

CHIPPEWA FALLS – Two children that were on an Endangered Missing
Children Alert list were found early Tuesday morning, but their
non-custodial father hasn’t been located.

The children – 13-year-old Christina Mancl and 10-year-old Scott
A. Mancl – were found at a residence in Chippewa County at 1 a.m.
Tuesday and were reunited with their mother at 2:45 a.m., said
Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald.

The children went missing on Sunday, according to the Wisconsin
Department of Justice’s Division of Criminal Justice, and were
believed to be with wither father, Scott F. Mancl.
